Who We Are
ICanRoll (icanroll.com) is a physical dice-rolling service independently built and operated. We shake real dice in a can, photograph the result, and return it to you with cryptographic certification.
What We Collect
During a session: Your IP address, player names you enter, roll photos and videos, and a session token are temporarily stored on our server. Roll media is automatically deleted 30 minutes after your session ends. Session data expires after 24 hours of inactivity.
In your browser: Session state (player names, roll history, settings) is stored in your browser's localStorage. We do not use cookies for tracking. Clearing your browser data removes all local session information.
Server logs: Standard server logs may include IP addresses in connection with failed authentication attempts or security events. These are not shared with third parties and are rotated regularly.
What We Don't Collect
We do not require accounts. We do not collect email addresses (unless you contact us). We do not use Google Analytics or other tracking services. We do not sell any data.
Payments & Donations
Donations are handled through Ko-fi, which processes payments via Stripe or PayPal. ICanRoll never receives or stores your payment card details. Ko-fi's and Stripe's own privacy policies govern how your payment information is handled.
Advertising
ICanRoll displays opt-in ads through Google AdSense. Ads only appear when you choose to support us by clicking "Watch an Ad" — they are never shown automatically. Google AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history. You can learn more about Google's advertising practices and opt-out options at Google's Advertising Policies.
Third-Party Services
ICanRoll uses Cloudflare for network routing, security, and hosting. Cloudflare may collect standard web traffic data (IP addresses, request metadata) as part of its services. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or as necessary to operate the service.
Your Rights
Because we don't create accounts or retain personal data beyond active sessions, there is generally nothing to delete once your session expires. If you have questions about your data, contact us at [email protected].
